With your Professional Coder Certificate, you’ll have the skills and knowledge needed to start your rewarding career as a medical coder. Program content will cover principles of medical coding, human anatomy and medical terminology. You’ll gain experience compiling, processing and maintaining patient medical records, which are essential to operations of a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office.
